The First Gen Initiative (FGI) is a non for profit organization with a mission to empower low-income and first-generation college-bound students to realize the promise of higher education by providing advising and resources to promote college enrollment, persistence, and graduation. FGI advances equal access to educational opportunities in historically under-served communities.

College Access Program
I didn't know the first thing about applying to college or how to decide what was the perfect fit for me. But FGI guided me through the whole process and continued to be there for me through their College Success Program. This is such a great resource for those in need of guidance because you become a member of a family-like community as well.
